Laura Kueny, MD, is an ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric eye care. She provides exceptional ophthalmology services to the communities of Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona, at ABC Children's Eye Specialists.
With clinical expertise in all pediatric eye conditions, Dr. Kueny provides care to children of all ages. She specializes in pediatric intraocular disease, including cataracts and glaucoma, as well as strabismus.
After graduating summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Kueny received her Doctorate of Medicine from the VCU School of Medicine/Medical College of Virginia, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Kueny went on to complete a residency in ophthalmology at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She also completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Kueny is an ongoing participant in surgical mission trips to both the Dominican Republic and Honduras. In her free time, she enjoys obstacle racing, running, hiking, coffee, and the Phoenix sunshine.
