Serving families throughout the Greater Phoenix area, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Avondale, Mesa, Sun City, and Gilbert, ABC Children's Eye Specialists provides specialized medical and surgical eye care for infants, children, teenagers, and adults with select ophthalmic conditions. Our team diagnoses and treats pediatric eye diseases, vision disorders, and acute eye conditions while also providing adult strabismus evaluation and treatment with Dr. James Plotnik and specialized ophthalmic care for adults with special healthcare needs, including pediatric and adult special needs cataract surgery, with Dr. Emily Shortridge.

Our pediatric ophthalmologists and consultative pediatric optometrists have advanced training in pediatric eye care and develop personalized treatment plans using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and evidence-based care. Appointments are never rushed, and families are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in decisions about their child's eye health.

The practice offers both surgical and nonsurgical treatment for a wide range of eye conditions, including retinopathy of prematurity, strabismus, amblyopia, cataracts, ptosis, double vision, and other complex pediatric eye disorders.
