Physician Assistant, Master of Science in Clinical Optometry.
Graduated from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba in 2004 as a Medical Doctor with high honors (Gold Title). In 2009 I completed my residency in Ophthalmology, and after that, I received training in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Pediatric Hospital of Holguin, Cuba. I worked for 3 years as a Pediatric Ophthalmologist in Cuba and general comprehensive Ophthalmologist in Venezuela for 2 years more.
I came to the USA in 2014 and I worked at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in the departments of Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neurophthalmology, and Emergency for 3 years as COT. I finished my master’s degree in clinical optometry at Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2021. I have a license to practice as a Physician Assistant from the Arizona Regulatory Board of PA since 2021 by Universal Recognition.
